3/15/2018 0 Comments What Are Torque Gauge And Its UsesA Digital Force Gauge (also force gage) is a small measuring instrument used across all businesses to measure the force during a push or pull test. Applications exist in research and development, laboratory, quality, manufacturing and field environment. There are two sorts of force indicators now: mechanical and digital force gauges. An electronic force gauge is essentially a handheld instrument which includes a load cell, digital component, software and a display. A load cell is a digital device which is used to convert a force into an electric signal. Through a mechanical arrangement, the force being felt deforms a strain gauge. The pressure gauge exerts the deformation (strain) to electric signals. The software and electronic equipment of this force gauge convert the voltage of the load cell into a force value that is shown on the instrument. Evaluation units of force measurements are most commonly newtons or pounds. The peak force is the most common result in force testing software. It is used to find out whether a part is good or not. Some examples of force dimension: door latch, caliber of spring, wire testing, strength ... but more complicated tests can be performed such as peeling, friction, and feel. Imada provides both digital and mechanical force gauges capable of the precise measurements required to determine the quality, strength or functionality of a product or part. Imada force gauges quantify both compression and pressure (push or pull) forces. Mechanical Force Gauges Imada mechanical force gauges measure force in real time or peak modes, don't need batteries or charging and are safe in hazardous environments. Low capability gauges measure around 150 lbf and high capacity versions up to 500 lbf. The streamlined model fits into confined spaces and steps force up to 50 lbf. The all metal structure enables them to keep their calibration for many years with proper care. Each gauge comes in a hard plastic carrying case with a selection of attachments. Digital Force Gauges Imada digital force gauges have selectable components, programmable high/low setpoints and output peak or constant data for collection by optional data acquisition software in USB, RS232, Digimatic and analog formats. Imada low capacity digital gauges measure ranges up to 220 lbf, high capacity gauges measure up to 1,100 lbf and our force gauge with remote sensor measures around 4,400 lbf. Each kit comprises a selection of attachments and a hard plastic carrying case. Torque Gauges Torque Gauge are intended for clockwise and counter-clockwise torque testing. The Jacob's throw is a versatile attachment and can be used for a variety of applications. Imada, Inc. provides durable, accurate and precise strength, hardness, torque and force measurement tools and related force measurement type equipment to many different industries -- aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics, food and beverage, packaging, construction equipment, etc..
